China Channel is very excited to announce that will be attending Shanghai’s ‘WeChat Expo’ at the Node Innovation Center, 1305 Kaixuan North Road (凯旋北路1305号) this Saturday September 12th.
The mini-exhibition runs from 10am to 6pm and is a bringing together of top experts, consultants and software vendors focusing on ‘anything WeChat’ in China and abroad. China Channel will be delivering a presentation (time to be confirmed) and will have our own booth where we would love to meet you all and talk about WeChat.
The China Channel team, yes we really are that cute
We’re really excited about attending this event. As this will be the exclusive launch for our brand new report. China Channel presents: How WeChat is Really Being Used by the 1 Billion Chinese Outside of Tier 1 Cities
We broke out the clip boards and went to 3 completely different places:
- the Bund, Shanghai
- a busy working class suburb of Chongqing
- a small sleepy countryside town on the Yangtze river
We asked 100 people in each place the same 8 questions about how they use WeChat. The results were revealing and start to paint a picture of how WeChat is really being used across China.
We have 10 free tickets (face value: 50 yuan) to give away to the event for our followers. If you fancy getting your hands on one:
